Hello, my name is Sylvie.
Photography and travel are my passions and this blog is about sharing it.
I already travelled a lot and but my thirst for discovery is intact, I love visiting new places, meeting different cultures, tasting unusual food and capture the beauties of our world through my lenses.
I have a passion for photography in general, but sport and wildlife are a big part of it and all the animal photos on this website have been taken in the wild.
In sports photography, I really enjoy the challenge of seizing the action, capturing it as well as the emotions of the athletes, their joy after achieving their ambitions. The thrill and entertainment they give to the public and the fans is contagious and gives pleasure to the photographer.
The observation of the fauna in its natural environment fascinates me and I took a safari guide course in South Africa to understand more about the animals and the ecosystem, and to add another dimension to my expeditions.
I really enjoy spending time in nature, sharing my photos with people who can't travel and also for the future generations who might not be able to see all the endangered species and maybe raise awareness about the fragility of the world we live in.
I also regularly go spontaneously for expeditions full of unknown, I always take all my lenses along to be ready for any photographic opportunities.
I know the start and end point and I let the journey dictate the rhythm, the encounters, the itinerary.
This total freedom is for me the key to unforgettable experiences.
